Called a company out for an ESTIMATE on painting the office... the owner comes out and gives me a quote of over $2,000 to paint outside a small amount of wood work. His bid: $2,000! Another company, local, gave me a bid of $600. I mention that I cant do $2,000 and that I have another estimate for $600 - from a reputable company mind you - and he replies: I dont give a s**t... they got a bunch of mexicans doing their painting so let them do it. Real professional there buddy! What difference does it make if the folks doing the work are white, black, green or mexican? Thats low class and I wouldnt hire you now if you gave me a bid of $50.
