Called in at a premium food store today where I had previously seen raw milk on sale, albeit with a small notice (was well as the product label) saying Not for human consumption. (Why they were selling a product not for human consumption in a food store has not been explained). Anyway, today I noticed that the raw milk is no longer on display. Hooray! I went to express my support to a staff member, who then said they are still selling it privately to their regular customers and they cant keep up with the demand. Gloom. So I went to lodge an online complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria, but it said that I have to provide documentary evidence of my attempts to resolve the complaint with the trader. Too much mucking around, so Im going to send them a tip-off instead of a complaint.
