Calling all Sheffield hockey fans! The Bradfield Brewery Sheffield Steeldogs are looking forward to the visit of the EPL’s resident moneybags as the Telford Tigers will be at iceSheffield on Saturday night (7.30 face-off). No one is more excited about the prospect than Andre Payette - he just loves those games against the Tigers! “We had a great game early in the season against Telford and we are definitely up for it, we are ready to go up against them again. Last night was just a bump in the road and we want to get back to winning ways this Saturday”. “We want the ice hockey fans of Sheffield to come out and see how Jeff Legue measures up to the best team in the EPL. It was great to have a big crowd in for the game last Sunday so we definitely want to be filling The Pound again this weekend. We hope to see all of Sheffield out supporting our boys on Saturday. We’d like to encourage all hockey fans out to see this game, so anyone wearing a Steelers jersey or a Steeldogs jersey or will get £1 discount on the door”. Tom Squires is hoping to see a few scary sights (not the Telford team!) but fans in fancy dress! It’s our Halloween themed night. Come along in fancy dress (pop your jersey over the top to get your £1 discount off your entry). There will be a competition for the Under 16s for the best outfit during the break at the end of the first period. All entrants will receive a gift and the winner will collect a special prize from Cineworld. To enter the competition simply meet at the bottom of the steps by Block 5 (where you go for Chuck-A-Puck) at the end of the first period.
