Calling all YMM members and supporters! On Thursday, July 18th, the Minnesota Institute of Arts will hold a meeting to vote on and elect a slate of board members. One of the board members on this slate is US Bancorp CEO Richard Davis, a principal architect of the Minnesota Orchestra lockout. We will be joining a protest outside the MIA with TakeActionMN in order to publicize our opposition to Davis. All members and friends are invited to join the protest as well as encouraged to bring instruments and perform, if interested. Also bring water (it will be warm out) and wear your YMM shirt, or bring $10 if you wish to purchase one (highly encouraged). The timeline is Thursday, July 18th, from 3:15-5:30. Hope to see as many people there as possible!
