Calling all Yalies! The Yale cultural centers are currently being reviewed and Id like to encourage you to submit (preferably named) comments reflecting on the role of the cultural centers in your experience. I think the external committee would love to hear positive experiences, ways it might have been improved, and any reflections on the current state of the centers (if you are familiar with that). Specific anecdotes and examples will likely be most helpful (for instance, I think the staff structure at the Af-Am House during my time at Yale was excellent because it provided jobs, leadership development, consistent programming, support for resident groups, opportunities to network with graduate students and alumni, and so on). Keeping them succinct will likely increase the probability that they will be closely read.
