Calling all community artists! Locals are encouraged to make art this month for the theme Funny Business to submit to the next community art show! One piece... of art per artist will be received at the 1912 Center office on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please have your piece display-ready so we will be able to hang it on the walls of our hallway gallery. Limited display space is available for 3D pieces in our cabinets in the Great Room. Contact us for the size limitation. This show is being co-sponsored by Palouse Women Artists who are generously providing cash prizes for the top four popular vote winners. First place will receive $40, second place $30, third place $20 and fourth place will receive $10. Voting will take place at the free fun opening reception to be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. Contact Jenny in the 1912 Center office at (208) 669-2249 with any questions.
