Calling all ex-Kenya volunteers! Following the success enjoyed by the fundraising team responsible for the clinic at IDP (they raised over £6000 in five months) we are looking to construct a second official team in order to support Southern Cross Academy, the school at IDP. Whilst the schools running costs are met by Agape Volunteers and private donors, there is rarely money left over for improvements to the school. We are looking for a small team of people interested in fundraising to take over responsibility for this important aspect of the project. The targets are all very attainable (the first is to buy new desks for the classrooms) and it would be a very worthwhile project. You would get support from us in terms of fundraising packs and administration support. If you are interested, please comment on this thread and then encourage volunteers you met in Kenya or your friends from home to also get involved. We hope to hear from you soon! AV
