Calling all jazz fans! Tonight The Blow-Up are returning to The Barrel House Ballroom with their distinctive, dynamic brand of cinematic jazz. Led by and featuring Tom Unwin on keys, the band put their own stamp on the jazz masters (Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, etc.), with added punch from 60s and 70s soundtrack tunes (Get Carter, Alfie, Mash, etc.), creating a stylish and accessible mix. Also featuring the fabulous Stig Olson on saxes and bass clarinet, The Blow-Up are completed by the fluid rhythms of Marcus Vergette on double bass and Ric Byer on drums. Doors 8pm.
