Calling all paddlers - heres the Virginia legislation bill youve been waiting for. Youve been asking for better paddling laws and here it is. BUT if you want it to become a reality you have to contact your representative by the end of the day Tuesday (1/21). Its very simple: Go to conview.state.va.us/whosmy.nsf/VGAMain?openform to see who your representative is, grab their email, and email them a short email that asks them to support SB 629. You dont have to go into a lengthy reason for why they should support it, unless you want to. What matters is letting them know you want them to support it - they keep track of this and look at how many people asked them to support it when making their decision on how to vote.
