Callout 95: Baravore Wednesday 16th October 2013 At 00:33hrs this morning Tuesday 16th October mountain rescue were tasked to search for 2 overdue males due to poor weather conditions. The pair had started off earlier on that evening from the Baravore Car Park when they had become disorientated due to deteriorating visibility. Members of the Dublin/Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team and the Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue Team responded to the incident and began their planning and searching from both the Baravore and Wicklow Gap Car Parks. At approximately 04:32 the pair were located by mountain rescue searchers using whistle blasts as a means of attraction. The 2 men were treated for mild hypothermia before being walked safely off the mountain and transported by mountain rescue landrover back to their car.
