Calls for more drilling seem to have gone silent as our friends in the oil industry deal with a situation that they wished for but do not seem to have anticipated. In recent years the U.S. has seen a significant increase in energy independence, shrinking unemployment, a surging stock market and private sector profits creating new opportunities for growth. Next step is to get the middle class back in the game.
