Calypso is a global leader in financial services technology, and today’s announcement that it is establishing a managed services centre in Dublin with the creation of 150 new jobs is a great boost. I met Calypso executives on a recent investment mission to USA. This investment supported by the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland. Financial services is a key sector which we have targeted as part of our Action Plan for Jobs, and we have put in place a range of measures to support jobs growth in this area, including most recently the appointment of a Minister of State with specific responsibility in this area.
