Cambodia, Russia To Strengthen Cooperation on Information AKP Phnom Penh, October 16, 2014 – Cambodia and Russia were committed to continue strengthening their cooperation on information for the mutual economic and trade interests. The commitment was made by Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith and Russian Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Dmitry Tsvetkov during their meeting here on Tuesday at the ministry. H.E. Dmitry Tsvetkov said both countries will promote more information exchange in order to boost the mutual understanding between the Cambodian and Russian peoples. Such cooperation has contributed to attract more Russian tourists and investors to visit and do business in Cambodia, he underlined. For his part, H.E. Khieu Kanharith shared the same idea with the Russian diplomat, saying that the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP) and the National Radio of Cambodia had signed a memorandum of understanding on information exchange with TASS of Russia. Increasing the relationship and cooperation on information will increase the mutual understanding between both nations’ peoples and encourage more and more Russian tourists and investors to Cambodia, he added. Besides, H.E. Dmitry Tsvetkov informed H.E.
