Came across this well-articulated truth: Animals do not give their life to us, as the sugar-coated lie would have it. They struggle and fight to the last breath, just as we would do if we were in their place. Heres another similar truism, which is especially important in the Indian context: Cows do not give their milk to us, as the sugar-coated lie would have it. The only thing that a free cow would willingly GIVE us, if we tried to milk her, is a KICK.
