Came home from work today planning on making a supper that my older kids would like. When I got home no one was around. I texted them and 1 responded that they went to the game and would not be home for supper. The other one didnt respond and assumed he was at the game too so made a supper of french toast, scrambled eggs and sausage instead. As we were finishing supper and cleaning up, Reese comes home and inquired what was for supper. Told him I would have made him a supper he liked but assumed since he didnt text back that he went to game and wouldnt be home. He informs me that he was at work and like the good employee he is, he doesnt get on his phone at work. What a good kid! Informed him that there were some scrambled eggs and sausage left and if he wanted I would make him some french toast. Said he would take some french toast. I, being skeptical as he doesnt like how I make french toast and never wants it when I make it, questioned him. Are you sure or are you going to complain about it? He replies, in an acting hurt voice, I come home from work and all I get is scraps left over and now Im not even going to get french toast made with love! Lol! He cracks me up! Told him he needs to be acting in the One Act at school instead of working backstage. Informs me they dont meet my standards of acting. Good grief!
