Came home today and both my husband and daughter told me about an experience they had yesterday(Tuesday 7/1/14). Apparently as they drove down 6th street a horse stepped out into the street in front of them. My husband stopped as my daughter jumped out of the barely stopped truck to grab an obviously broke lead rope that was dangling from the horse. My husband turned into the circle k where the horse had come from and went inside and asked if anyone knew whos horse it was and that it was in the middle of 6th street. Apparently it belonged to a teenager who was in the store. She made a show of how inconvenient it was that her horse was loose, went outside and took the horse from my daughter and was none to nice to the poor thing. This teenager never thanked my husband or my daughter who had gone out of their way to rescue the horse...quite the contrary, she was rude about it!!!! I found this very sad. Seems to be more common than not anymore these days....very sad indeed!
