Cameron need to Step down and allow major changes be made to WICB and the way Our Cricket is governed! Dissolve this current system of governance and start from fresh! 1. Presently theres too many directors! There should be Max 4 and ensure a rotation policy is put in place so as to avoid biasness and victimization and at no point in time should the President, CEO, WIPA President and any of the directors be from the same Country! With the current amount of Directors, theres noway all is going to agree on policies to take us forward hence Patterson recommendations hasnt been implemented... No one was willing to take the fall. This system has stagnated our Cricket for tooo long. 2. In addition to the 4 Directors, Shareholders need to be included on the Board so as to demand accountability, performance and progession! Include someone elected by all the shareholders to represent them so as to avoid to many cook spoiling the pot. 3. Demand the Players give guarantees with regards to their commitment to WI Cricket, ie Our Global T20 Stars, they are all millioniares now! Missing an IPL wont hurt their Pocket. WI Cricket need to get the priority it deserve from Our Players! 4. Ensure the Selectors is independent from all ties with the Shareholders/Directors and also major changes need to be made with regards to the criterion used for Selecting Players to WI Team! That method hasnt worked for the past 20 years. 5. The WICB has been using a method of of trying to bend the Tree when its already full grown hence our Players continue to make the same mistakes over and over and over.... I Propose more emphasis is placed on Our Grassroot Cricketers, get Our Past Legends more involve with the Coaching aspects of Our Cricket from Grassroot straight up to the Seniors. These are just some of the changes I would like to be made to WICB and WI Cricket at this present moment.
