Camp always seems gone in the blink of an eye, it all seems to - TopicsExpress

Camp always seems gone in the blink of an eye, it all seems to happen so fast. And--especially for those of us who go back to work or school very soon after--the memories sometimes fade more quickly than we would like from crisp to sepia. We think about camp, but when we do, it may be all in our worries and hopes for next year. When instead, it is important to remember the gigantic part that a small clutch of people played in the lives of so many youth. Every summer sees so much busyness and hair-tearing over details, but every one for 65 years has fulfilled its promise to give kids a roaring good time. So look back and remember: let the revving Nostalgia Engines run hot while they drive you through the past. Hold summer in your hand, pour summer in a glass. PS: Sorry to the staff who did not make it in: I go for things that catch my eye as visually unique or very fitting for the song. Sometimes there is just a better shot of the same event or the thing is blurry, or you just werent really smiling at the right time. And some of you are just TOO DARNED PHOTOGENIC, to the point where I have to start tossing out good pictures just because Ive used too many with you in it. Photos come courtesy of Murph, Bruce, Nick, and I think just about everybody else who took pictures this summer somewhere. Only one picture was not from the 2014 at camp, and only one of those at camp in 2014 was not exactly in the summer; guess which and all that.
