Camp day 5: Today we finally got to the last set of the show. We havent marched it with instruments yet, but it was exciting nonetheless. The students were unusually enthusiastic about rerunning sections. This makes me suspicious. No one likes to rerun sets; I am sure they are up to no good. We had some firsts today: first quick stepping lesson, first section circles, and unfortunately for several of out riper members I believe it may have been the first shower of the week. Today was balloon day. Its the day we see the hot air balloons over camp. That went well with the rainbow sets we were putting on the field. Tonight the kids are hanging out in the dining hall. A DJ and pizza turn it in to quite the party room. Highlight of the day-- definitely our frog visitor. Lowlight of the day --- the sloppy joes from yesterday. And boys in short shorts. Both are equally nauseating.
