Camp is so much more than a Facebook post but I will try my best to share my experience with you because It is such a beautiful thing. Camp to me is bruises from the blob, loving yourself, splinters from the deck and having fun with friends as you realize what a true friendship is and feeling the connection between God and you, trying to explain what God is to somebody else even if they cant accept what it is. Camp is facing your fears, setting ropes course records. Doing surprise mud fights with 500 kids, meeting new friends, exchanging numbers, wet swimsuits, quiet basketball courts at 5:00, club everyday, hopefully more than once, true stories that open up relativity in your life, sharing life changing moments with people surrounded around you, and the honking of the horns and waves of the staff, servers and the pits as you leave that amazing week of your life guaranteed. I really thank god for all this experience hes giving to me and cant explain how crazy I am for him.
