Camping Tips That Can Help Every Level Of Camper ift.tt/1cBtjOp By Sara Ezan If you love to spend time outdoors, taking in everything that nature has to offer, then give camping a try. The following article has guidelines for what you should be doing and planning for before and during your big trip. If you are prepared, camping is great fun and worth the effort you put into it. With camping, comes the campfire. Make sure your campfire is in an open space and far enough away from brush or trees so you dont run the risk of a stray spark catching them on fire. Surround the fire with stones to help keep it contained. Most importantly, never leave any campfire unattended. If you need to leave for any reason, make sure the campfire is extinguished completely. Do plenty of research on your camping site and ensure that it offers everything that your group will need. Consider the individual needs of each camper to ensure that everyone is taken care of. This alleviates the need to make supply runs, or worst case, have to end the trip too soon. Put together a survival pack and have it on you all the time. Dont forget things like knives, waterproof matches, flares, first aid, and a water purifier. If you are injured or lose your way, this will give you a greater chance of survival. Always carry it on your person when you venture away from your campsite, or it wont do you much good. If you are traveling with children, give them the opportunity to assist you when you get to the campground. They can carry gear, support you as you set up the tent and look for firewood. Not only will it keep them busy and out of trouble, it will be fun for them as well. When you go camping, be sure to have a few activities in mind other than just... camping. The camping experience is enriched by hiking, swimming, exploring and things like that. Be sure to engage in some of these other activities so that you have the fullest camping experience youve ever had. Take along a box with essential supplies when you go camping. Include things like stick matches, a flashlight, cooking tools and hand cleaner. Prepare in advance. Think about all the things you might need days before you leave on your trip, especially if you will be far from any store. If you are a novice at camping, dont stray far from home. You might have gear problems, or you might figure that you want to cut your camping trip short. You may run out of supplies early. Lots of calamities can befall new campers, so sticking close to home at first is wise. When you are packing your clothing for a camping trip, remember that it is best to dress in layers. This way, you can add or remove clothing to make you more comfortable. Take along a rain coat that you can put on top of every other layer to keep you dry if it rains. Before you even leave your camping trip, try practicing pitching a tent in your backyard or some other open space. People do not know how difficult pitching a tent can be; you do not want to get to camp and realize you have no idea what you are doing. Practice makes perfect! Never park your vehicle under a single tree when you are at a campsite. If there is a storm, it will attract lightning. This also means that you should avoid sleeping under any trees that are in a particular area by themselves. Try to be in an area that is free of trees or one that has many. After reading the camping advice in this article, no one should see camping in a negative light. Camping should be seen for the wonderful activity that it is, not as a potential danger. If you remember what youve read here, you should be able to camp safely without any problems. About the Author: Click Here To Download Thousands Of PLR
