Campus Placement Process for Sonata B.E/B.Tech holders with a consistent score of 65% marks from 10th till graduation can participate for campus placement in Sonata. MCA holders with a minimum of 70% marks can also join. Recruitment process consist of 5 stages, Written Test – Aptitude, Written Test – Technical, Written Test – English, Group Discussion, and Technical Interview. Those who can get through all these stages of selection process are given with offer letter of appointment. Eligibility Criteria for Campus Placement in Sonata Fresh engineering graduates are usually considered for campus placement in Sonata. Engineering degree must be obtained in any of the following subjects. Computer Science Electrical & Electronics Electronics & Communication Electronics & Telecommunication Information Science Information Technology Aspirants must have completed B.E/B.Tech degree with a minimum of 65% marks. MCA holders with a minimum of 70% marks can also apply. Those with these much eligibility must have secured at least 65% marks in 10th and HSC class. Applicants must be free of backlogs at the time of submitting application. Study gap between academics is not allowed. Moreover, eligible candidate should be technically sound. Campus Placement Process for Sonata Campus recruitment in Sonata is done through a five stage process. Written Test – Aptitude Written Test – Technical Written Test – English Group Discussion Technical Interview The first session of Aptitude is meant to evaluate the speed and accuracy of the candidate. There will be 50 questions in this session that must be completed within 12 minutes. Fill in the blanks model and objective type questions are included. Questions are asked from topics of basic mathematics, English, and analytical ability. Second round of recruitment process is technical test. There are 30 questions for the test that must be completed within 30 minutes. Majority of the questions are based on programming languages like C, and C++. Those who clear this section can move to the session of General English. Thirty questions were included in this session and that must be completed within time duration of 20 minutes. Those who clear the written test will be short listed for GD session. Duration of this session will be 15-20 minutes where the communication skills of the candidate are checked basically. Technical interview is the final stage of selection process. Non IT students can expect questions from C, C++, OS, and so on. IT/CS students (or from computer science back ground) must be thorough with all core topics studied under qualifying degree. Those who can get through all these stages of selection process are given with offer letter that contains the intimation on the date of joining.
