Can ANYONE tell me why our kids study Mali more than the US nowadays? Frankly, loved history. Went thru high school and 8 years of college and scarcely ever heard of Mali. Kids are Malied to death now between 2nd and 5th grade. Anything wrong w Greece and Rome, or western Europe? Seriously, you look at their literature, and you would think that this little country that barely lasted 100 years in fourteenth century was absolute utopia on earth.
