Can God whisper to you, or does He have to scream, our priority should be to have an intimate relationship with God through Christ the God/Man. Our only confidence beyond the grave is that we have a real, true, genuine relationship with God the Father, just believing in Christ will not suffice, acknowledging He paid the penalty for Adams sin (which brought a fallen nature to his descendants) and loves us is not enough, we must reach out and grab His hand and follow His lead as he shows us the way to eternal life. Do you talk to or about God like He is not in the room? Then your relationship is not up to par. draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Be empowered by His Spirit to help you overcome the world your fallen nature and the devil, so that you can enter through the gates, eat from the tree of life and drink from the living water that proceeds from the throne of God.
