Can I get on my soap box for a minute? You guys may be familiar with the taxi-type service Uber? In the past 3 days I’ve used it 3 times and have had really interesting conversations with the drivers. The guys driving were “regular guys” who have chosen to make either side income or full-time income driving their cars on THEIR time. Two of the guys said they are doing it because they want to OWN their time and not work for anyone else. Office work blows, said one. This gives him the flexibility to set his hours, whether he wants to work from 8am to 12pm or midnight to 5am. The other driver said that doing the work he loves, being a yoga instructor, was sucking his time and energy. Say what? Ya, he was basically saying that he didn’t really want to work hard because it required too much sacrifice. This made me think. 1. Oh My GOOOOOODNESSSSSSSS, how lucky we are to have this Beachbody coaching opportunity!!! It’s like this secret that either many people don’t know about or that they choose to ignore, either out of lack of interest or fear. The one time I worked in an office, from 9 to 5, I wanted to die. I hated it. So I get not wanting to be stuck to a desk job. I get it!! What I love about being a Beachbody coach is that I get to set my hours, choose my workspace, make great income, and truly help people. I’m also surrounded by incredibly positive people. When I leave my bubble I never fail to realize how negative people can be. I LOVE BEING A BEACHBODY COACH. 2. Success or getting what you want takes Sacrifice. The driver was complaining about having to work too hard for his passion. I honestly couldn’t relate or comprehend. I don’t know where I got my work ethic from, but I am so thankful that I have one. I LOVE WORKING with PASSION and I love working with hard working people. If you want a better life, you must be willing to work hard to get it. It’s hardly ever just given to you! That’s all I have to say. :) for now.
