Can I get some opinions? My grandparents got me a laptop for Christmas in 2012. It came broken and even though it had a full warranty, Dell charged us over $400 to have it repaired. A few months after I got it back, it stopped working again. When you plugged it into the wall or battery it would light up but wouldnt power on no matter what you did. When I contacted Dell, I was told that It doesnt sound like a manufacturer error, so it isnt covered. My friend Daniel is in his third year of Law School and he says that I should file a suit against Dell for the cost of the computer (~$1200), cost of repairs (almost $1000 dollars after this newest incident) and for something else I cant remember. Something about the inconvenience, time and money that their incompetence cost me. What do you guys think? Is it worth my time, or even a good idea?
