Can I hear the word....Justice????? Was notified 2 weeks ago, that the lawyer I hired 1 1/2 years ago for John Curtis dog bite, ( remember when his cousins Pit Bull got him at the Easter egg hunt????) was going to court today. The Dad lawyer, fought us for 6 weeks, said it too small a case, we gave up. Found out 2 weeks ago his son had passed the bar, and was taking on all the cases his dad turned away. Its not a fortune, 3 scars you cant see unless you look for them, but got a cash offer for pain and suffering, before we even got out of our car, our lawyer was calling us!!! The judge saw the pics, and in 2 paragraphs with statements from 4 of the defendants there were 4 different stories told, and 5 lies.....Judge told the attorneys to settle, because of all the lies, and though he is a long way from being rich, which we werent going for anyway, he will have $3,000.00 cash, within 30 days per court order. JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!
