Can I just say that God is good. I was beginning to feel overwhelmed thinking of all that needed to be done in taking care of my dads financial stuff, making sure we have everything in order for mom to get all her benefits, keeping an eye on moms physical and emotional state. Then to top it off we hear that her primary doctor has to change due to insurance dropping the doctor off network. Bummed. We really like this doctor. I prayed last night and asked God to give me all I needed to give me peace and wisdom. Read this in my devotion: Do not worry about tomorrow!This is not a suggestion, but a command. I divided time into days and nights, so that you would have manageable portions of life to handle. My grace is sufficient for you, but its sufficiency is for only one day at a time. When you worry about the future, you heap day upon day of troubles onto your flimsy frame. You stagger under this heavy load, which I never intended you to carry. Throw off this oppressive burden with one quick thrust of trust. Anxious thoughts meander about and crisscross in your brain, but trusting Me brings you directly into My Presence. As you thus affirm your faith, shackles of worry fall off instantly. Enjoy My Presence continually by trusting Me at all times. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” —Matthew 6:34 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. —2 Corinthians 12:9 Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. —Psalm 62:8 SO this morning I make two phone calls in regard to insurance,etc.....social security was a breeze. We dont even have to go to the office. Everything was already processed and moms survivor benefits in the works! Another call made and the response was we can email you the forms for you to fill out and send back along with death certificate. Easy enough. The doctor gave me a couple of doctors she referred us to for mom. ONE is very close and is a geriatric specialist! I am soooooo grateful and had to share Gods goodness to me this morning. His promises are true, He never fails, He always comes through on time. I know dad must have been telling God Dios, ayuda mi hija hoy God, help my daughter today.
