Can I vent a little? I teach transitional kinder, Im in California. I love, love this new grade.... The problem is that it is SO material intensive! I need my kids to cut/ paste/ paint/ create/ do.... I get very little funding from my school--- I just ask the parents to bring and donate supplies. I get 3 parents of my 27 that do it once in a while. I ask for egg cartons, cotton balls, paint, flour, salt..... Nothing super expensive--- but adds up if I always buy it all!! Sigh- Ok I feel better.
