Can a room full of people (about 700-800) with cell phones interfere with the channel on your radio receivers? I was at an event this weekend and noticed several mis-fires on my AB1600s with Phottix Odin triggers. I started on channel 1, then switched to channel 4, which seemed to improve the situation, but not 100%. I was positioned about 100 from my strobes, and had the receivers fixed to the side of my ABs. They were mounted on heavy duty 12 stands, and I was 15 on top of a structure. I did not see this in pre-testing prior to the event. Im a little perplexed as to why they would misfire. Batteries were fresh, too. Thoughts?
