Can anybody help me I wonder? I am looking for the actual legal documentation regarding the spraying of weed killing chemicals on Public spaces. All I can find is this patronising crap about your so called rights on the matter (posted below). In our local magazine Life, they are always telling us about keeping our kids safe, yet are persistently spraying lawn edges with what I presume is round up or similar chemical mix which is known to cause kidney damage and breathing difficulties or other more sinister problems. My kids and their friends often have a picnic on the front grass and play with toys that inevitably land in the recently sprayed areas. I am struggling to see how large patches of chemically scorched areas are more attractive than weeds and it seems that the only precedent set is that a street agreed to maintain their own weed problem but they still had to use some sort of weed killer to do so.
