Can anyone answer this simple question.Back in June i had a new storm door put on my front,three weeks later the lock broke.So, i called the person who installed it.He took the part,weeks went by so i called him.He told me Home Depot said we broke it.OH REALLY, SO,i went to Home Depot with pictures of the door. Sales lady told me its covered for a full year and that inside the door is a toll free number.s I TOLD HER WHAT GUY WHO INSTALLED TOLD ME HE WAS TOLD. She laughted,saying how can you break metal.SO,i called the toll free number,was told it is covered and we could have it in 10- tens days BUT the store needed the receipt.Its the end of Dec NOW, after a number of phone calls and messages on facebook,i got no where.SO,i finally let this guy know he needs to get this straighten out or im going to B.B.B. Well, now hes claiming we broke this door,number one ,he NEVER went to Home Depot, Two , its not going to cost him a cent,but hes acting like a real JERK ,name calling the whole thing.I will never get this guy to do anything for us again,not even for FREE. Why would l lie about a door lock,just makes no sence ,you think hed do the job right or make it right,and it cost him nothing but looks like A COURT CASE COMING . All i did was go out the door back in later,then tried to get out but door was like it was locked and i called him in June,P.M. me for name
