Can anyone give me an idea of how bad this is? Be gentle as it is already ours. When purchasing, I did not know about this sort of corrosion on aluminum. Its a keel stepped Cal 2-46. We have since taken off the mast boot and sealed with toilet wax. Our surveyor did not catch this, we are going to get a full mast survey on this and the rigging.
