Can anyone he,p with this tax question? Im a california resident considering buying a battery electric vehicle (bev) in oaklahoma. Oaklahoma state is giving a tax refund equal to 50% of the cars worth if it is a bev, this is an effort to take combustion engines off the road. If i buy this car in oaklahoma and drive back to california, can i file for state refunds in oaklahoma to get 50% of the cars worth back? Do i have to be a citizen of the state i am doing taxes for?
