Can anyone help me......About a month ago we had a terrible fire in our area. It stopped just over the road from my house, which is a very bushy area. I am now finding snakes in my house every day. I do know that one was a Boom slang not very big and the others were ordinary house snakes I presume but this mornings one took the cake. My cat was sitting on the floor and looking up I saw a snake coming out of my reed ceiling. Do they breed in these ceilings or was this just a vloek? My husband managed to get it out with a long snake apparatus that he has. Is this because of the fire that we had and were these poor creatures disturbed from hibernation. I felt bad yesterday that I actually drove over one in our driveway. BTW I live in Bettys Bay.
