Can anyone highlight why at Glasgow airport, Police Scotland are dressed all in black, shirt collars buttoned to under the chin, sporting serious faces checking passports? Visitors alight the plane, walk a fair distance along corridors with wonderful scenes of trees, blue skies, welcoming words only to be met by the polis. Come on guys, a wee bit heather motif on a lapel or a tiny splash of colour would do no one any harm. You look far too fearsome. Friendly Scots an a that.
