Can anyone recommend websites to help with learning to read? My first grader is really struggling with simple reading. I addressed my concerns last year with her Kindergarten teacher and was told, shes doing GREAT! Um, no. She goes from reading her sight words well, to taking a full minute to get a word as simple as she. Of course Im working with her myself, but I would like to add as many tools as possible to help her build her reading skills. She also gets very easily distracted and Im having to remind her to look at the word and sound it out after almost every word she reads. Im praying this will change after we get in the groove of our first year homeschooling.
