Can anyone shed some light? I was diagnosed with hashimotos about 9 years ago with hypo symptoms of nausea, dizzy spells, fatigue, poor circulation, long heavy periods, muscle weakness etc etc, got 100mcg oroxine and that was that, been fine ever since...or maybe not! Since then i have suffered anxiety, panic attacks, depression, interstitial cystitis, migraines, and failure to dialate during labour which led to a c section, i also had a wound that wouldnt heal for 9 months that i needed a skin graft for. Most of these flares of illness have coincided with me giving birth (ive had 3 children in the last 6 years) and my most recent flare was new symptoms again, this time a sun induced rash and transient muscle and joint pain. Also easy bruising..All this time i have thought my tsh was stable so all these issues have been unrelated to hashimotos, but could it ALL be from the hashis? Over the years ive been on a gluten free diet on and off and have always felt better for it also. At the moment my ana is 1:640 speckled, rf is 16, liver enzymes are elevated, cholesterol is high, and ssa antibodies present, now they are sending me to a rheumatologist to see if i have lupus and sjogrens syndrome, but i dont seem to have the symptoms of either.. Can hashis present with flares like this, with different symptoms each time? The interstial cysitis started a month or two after the birth of my second child, but since falling pregnant with my third it seems to have dissapeared and been replaced with joint pain, which is gone too now that im eating gf..
