Can collectors legally call the references of an individual harassing those references? Im getting calls from collectors trying to get me to spill information about a friend whose identity was stolen, and who listed me as a reference. Im getting sick of the collectors calling me. Anyone know if I can sue the collectors for harassment to get them off my back? Any lawyers willing to guarantee a case?
