Can formerly feral kittens become wonderful family companions? You - TopicsExpress

Can formerly feral kittens become wonderful family companions? You bet! These three adorable fluff balls were found behind a wall at a filthy old barn on a PG&E lot in Watsonville. They were brought to the attention of our volunteer Jessica, who was able to work with PG&E staff to break through the wall to rescue and then foster the babies. Hissy and spitty at first (see attached video), it didn’t take long for these cuties to learn that humans were not so bad after all, and became sweet, affectionate and friendly kittens who have all now been adopted through AFRP. Mama cat was too old to be socialized, and was TNR’d via the Friends of Watsonville Shelter (FOWAS) clinic. A PG&E employee agreed to continue providing food and water for mama cat, who was returned to her original territory but will not be having any more litters. Many thanks to all the community members who worked together to improve the lives of this feline family!
