Can mobile phones be deadlier than cigarettes. Some say yes, others disagree. But new technology is guilty until proven innocent. So how can these small fancy gadgets be harmful to us? Research has shown that mobile phones could mess with our head particularly the blood brain barrier. It could potentially affect our immune system, the cells in our body that protect us from infections. Serious concerns include Alzheimers, strokes and autism. You could also add brain tumours to this list. Well, we do not have any conclusive studies presenting cell phones as a potential threat but it is advisable to limit our usage.
