Can one be both an optimist and a realist? The optimist in me is happy with the increasing numbers of folks buying guns, getting concealed carry permits and getting training. I am optimistic that we can continue to grow our numbers and add voices to the 2nd Amendment cause. I’m very optimistic with our huge growth in women joining our ranks every day. The realist in me knows that can’t rest though because the anti-gun people/groups/politicians will never quit trying to implement their radical anti-gun (read anti Constitution) agenda. In the notoriously anti-gun States, they continue to pass encroachments and infringements against law abiding citizens. They are also not silent and are not giving up in their desire to make gains in pro-gun States as well as continuing in their efforts to pass their agenda on a National level. Buy ammo, buy the guns you want (and will need) and support every pro-gun organization you can and introduce someone new to guns, gun safety, the shooting sports and the Second Amendment when you can. Hooah.
