Can someone explain something to me? I imagine its going to stir up some controversy but I have such a curiosity about it. How does Jesus feel about civil unions? And before you answer, can you compare that to how Jesus feels about divorce? Because I know a heck of a lot more people that have been divorced than I know people that are gay. Comparing the two issues may not make sense to some but I think what Im getting at is that the Bible states pretty clear that divorcing is wrong (not my opinion, just quoting text) but we have passed laws to allow it and it has become socially acceptable to be divorced. I guess I just wonder how we can condemn one thing but accept another in the name of religion?
