Can someone explain this basic thing to me? Specifically regarding women or basic girls, or in other cases, basic b*tches? It seems this term has popped up to make fun of girls (like me) who get excited for things like fall, Starbucks and leggings. I cant figure out why I need to apologize or be defined by liking fun, happy things that are popular for a reason. But maybe Im just a ranty, sensitive feminist with no sense of humor.
