Can someone tell me why a creditor can take your payment out of the bank, or have your check clear the very day they get it in the mail, but when you call for a credit refund, it takes 7-10 business days to get it either put back in your account or receive said refund check in the mail? We were supposed to receive our refund check from the propane company this past Saturday. It still didnt come in the mail today so I called them. They havent even mailed it yet. I am furious, since the pocket gouging landlord wolf is gnawing on my neck this very minute. Too late to worry about it now...they will file papers at the courthouse this afternoon. Wonderful.
