Can the media please stop with the Paula Deen witch hunt? Enough already. there are bigger problems in this world than continuing on a with a saga that has no ending. Just an observation but when either Bush was president, we did not hear about First Ladies- Barbara and Laura- taking million dollar vacations. Or how they had to have their plane rebuilt because of all the traveling...yes, First lady Michelle has her own plane which has been rebuilt two or three times now ~thanks to our tax dollars. this is a heft price tag for an obesity program that has yielded no significant results. My point is that when Laura Bush was First Lady you saw news reports of her doing important work in the inner cities, pushing literacy, and most importantly-- not seeing her constantly on the late night shows or on magazine covers. Call me old fashion or conservative, but I believe that the role of First Lady is not to be on David Letterman or flying around the world shopping. I have seen few pictures of the current First Lady in the inner cities reading or being the humanitarian that the former Republican First Ladies have been. Like I said, just my opinion and I have been doing fact checking...I find that the current first lady travels a lot around the world and it is not holding Aids babies or reading to poor children....
