Can we all please share this? This girl is urgent. She is in a lot of pain and I dont think she has much time! They need her out of the shelter. She fell from the 7th floor. She has a pelvic fracture but she will heal with some cage rest. She is in a lot of pain and she shouldnt stay like that so please, if you can help or know someone who could, please say so and ill help connect you with a rescue! She also is going to need pledges! Lets help her please! Smokey fell out of a seventh story window! She sustained a pelvic fracture, which will require about 3-4 weeks of cage rest. Smokey has been nervous and timid while in the shelter, but relaxes a bit if you approach her slowly and give her a few minutes to get used to you. Please help Smokey get the care she needs. Smokey A0983798- 5 year old Spayed female, gray & white DSH- 7.2 lbs- Stray, 11/01 Medical Initial: Green Scanned negative Intact female, approx 5 yrs old Laterally recumbent and vocalizing; Bleeding from mouth- tongue laceration noted by Dr Lund Also fresh blood noted on ventral abdomen As per Dr Lund 2 view x-rays taken; pelvic fracture noted. May have fallen out of window. Temp 97.7- placed on heat in cage in medical. Buprenex 0.1mL IM as per Dr Lund. Dehydrated- given 100mL SQ LRS as per Dr Lund.
