Can we avoid the fighting between the snow lovers and snow haters on here please lol? Some people hate snow because it slows them down and makes for dangerous conditions for walking and driving and some people love snow because its peaceful and cleansing and fun. I understand both sides of it. No need to hate it because someone shares an opposing opinion from you. Lets get one thing straight though. I see a lot of people who blame the snow for a lot of the accidents we see an snowy days. Im not ignorant, I know even if you drive carefully you can still slip out and get in an accident because of the snow, no doubt. A majority of the accidents we see on those days are not of those varieties though. A lot of them come from people who drive the speed limit or above and fly around turns and frankly dont adjust to the driving conditions. I took a walk when it was snowing the other morning and every road was covered in snow and I saw so many cars sliding, and you know what, most of them were driving way too fast in those conditions. Same goes for driving in the rain! Take your time, drive careful and your chances of sliding out are dramatically decreased. I had to laugh, this one guy went flying around a turn and lost control and slid into someones front yard and he got out of the car cursing and said This damn snow.... I could only laugh, you slowly go around that turn and that wouldnt have happened. Indeed, I had to drive that morning when roads were still bad, and I was taking my time and driving careful and my car started to slide so I took my foot off the gas and let it even out, it took maybe 30 seconds, and some goofball came flying up behind me, seeing I was sliding a little, slammed on his breaks, had to swerve to avoid me and had the nerve to curse at me when he passed by. Then yesterday I was driving, roads were fine, speed limit was 30, I was going about 38 MPH and this woman was right on my bumper and she ended up flying around me, on a one lane road going at least 50 and further up the road I saw her cut off a school bus. Then not 5 minutes later a totally different woman was going 65 on a 35 MPH road and nearly slammed into someone in front of them. Learn how to drive.
