Can we just remind everyone that we are unfunded completely, and rely on donations alone, we have had 9 clients fail to make even a penny donation from cases we won last month, all of which have been paid considerable backpay and where we have taken over and won appeals for and after lots of hard work, lots of photocopying/posting and phone calls to dwp/tribunal and themselves, not to mention the hours involved particularly with the legal submissions etc. This spoils it for others as at this rate unless a miracle happens we will not be here after spring, everyone have had a rough month with xmas etc, that includes ourselves and if it wasnt for the generosity of a select few who regularly donate or the ones who have surprised us last month with wins because of appeals/reconsiderations they have done mostly themselves using just our notes so it cost us nothing etc, we would not be here this month. We hope this shames those who have been paid out who promised they would cover at least our admin costs of £50 out of their many £thousands in some cases of backpay, into paying as we wont be around next time you want us. The list now stands at a staggering 27 full time appeal clients who refuse to pay a penny once the money was in their bank, despite signing an agreement to donate at least our admin costs, it is simply unfair, as we have worked for nothing for months and could have spent our time helping others instead. This month I have dipped into my own pocket which is shallow as it is to put £100 towards our rent and admin costs. Thats not fair, for all of the ones moaning we havent got back to you over the xmas period, its was XMAS and whilst some of the fantastic admin were working on xmas day etc some of us had to have some time out.
