Can we pray? After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on - TopicsExpress

Can we pray? After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the hillside by Himself to pray. And when evening came, He was there alone. (Matthew 14:23 TLV) Eitse hobane a kgutlise matshwele, a nyolohela thabeng ho ya rapela kathoko; a phirimelwa a sa le hona teng a nnotshi. (MATTHEU 14:23 SSO61SO) Sometimes the noise in our lives doesnt allow us the opportunity to pray. Who do you need to send away, what do you need to let go off so that you can pray? For some it is fear, disappointment, weariness and discouragement. While for others it is beloved friends, tv, social media etc. I dont know what your noise is. But for you to ascend the mountain of prayer you will need to send them away. For a turnaround to happen in 2015 you have to pray. The year brings nothing but fertile soil in which we must plant the seeds of prayer. If we dont we will have to contend with the harvest of weeds that it might throw at us. Certain battles may require private prayers that should be sustained. Some would love to get a job or go to school, others would like a godly spouse while others need healing and good health. Whatever your need or desire, if you can fall on your knees in private and pour yourself out to God, you can be found standing strong against the challenges of life in public. Let us pray... Father, 2015 was a good year. I say so because you have finished each day of that year and everything you create is good. I declare that as I live in Christ Im living in your goodness. I am surrounded by goodness. I see the goodness of The Lord in the land of the living. Open my eyes to see those things that cause me not to pray. I ask you for the grace to break away from them. As you continue to teach me to pray I thank you that I grow in confidence and in relationship with you. Thank you for increased grace to pray. 2015 was a good year in Jesus name. Amen.
